![]() ![]() The problem has not re-occurred as yet (famous last words!) I updated the firmware in my router, reset the settings and then added back the manual IP assignment once again. ![]() When I updated nStream/NDX last week I too saw the problem a few times once again. (NB: I switched all the devices off before changing the router settings, then switched them back on one by one afterwards to mitigate any risk of the devices getting in a muddle). I left the settings on the devices unchanged (i.e. I found that manually assigning the IP in the router (against MAC address) for each device on the network solved the problem. Originally I had everything running in DHCP mode, both on the router and devices. I overcame it by making changes to the network setup. I experienced the “server not found” problem when I first added the NDX into the network back in January (as well as with the demo unit I had prior to this). Synology DS710+ with Synology Media Server / Minimserver If I only could, I would immediately step back to the versions I had before. it didn.t help.Ĭurrently I'm really frustrated and I'm very much hoping that NAIM will be able to correct the situation in the next few weeks. restart of Superuniti, restart of n-stream, toggle upnp modes, refresh covers etc etc. In the meantime I have been trying different methods to make my system recover faster e.g. What is really strange is that sometimes even when there is "no server", I just press play and the first song from the last album starts playing, it nevertheless takes the mentioned 1-5mins until n-stream reports the server as detected and I can select song from another album. when I have been listening to music, left the system running, hibernate the ipad and return e.g. One situation in terms of recovery time is e.g. It takes between 1-5mins until I have a usefully system where I can browse the collection and start listening to music. N-stream has become unreliable in terms of start-up and detecting the NAS. No matter from which situation I could start n-stream and the NAS was found after very latest 10sec and I could browse my music collection. NAS Synology 112+ DSM 4.3-3776 with Logitech media server and 2.5GB of FLAC musicīefore the last update of n-stream and Superuniti everything was running very well. I have the same "server not found" issue. ![]()
